American School & University 2008 Architectural Portfolio featured four Kallmann McKinnell & Wood projects: Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business, Center for Doctoral Research and Education (KMW in association with Sizemore Group); University of California Riverside, Physical Sciences Building (KMW in association with Wou & Partners); University of Missouri Kansas City, Health Sciences Building (KMW in association with The Clark Enersen Partners); and Wesleyan University, Usdan University Center.

KMW was selected as Design Architect for the Ukrainian Catholic University’s New Campus in Lviv, Ukraine.

KMW Architects completed Washington University’s Harry & Susan Seigle Hall, Social Sciences and Law School Building in St. Louis, Missouri.

KMW Architects in association with Booziotis & Company completed the second phase at the Blanton Museum of Art for the University of Texas, Austin. The grand opening of the Edgar A. Smith Arts Education Administration Building took place in October 2009.

KMW Architects in association with Bowie Gridley Architects has been selected to develop the Lauinger Library Master Plan for Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

A number of KMW’s recent projects were displayed at the McCormick Gallery, BAC School of Interior Design Exhibit held this past October.

KMW started construction on the College of Business for the University of Wyoming and the new Visual Arts Complex for the University of Colorado in Boulder.

U.S. Courthouse in Jefferson City, Missouri for which KMW is Design Architect and Architect-of-Record and SFS Architecture is local Associate Architect, was featured in the University of Miami GSA Design Excellence Exhibit in October.

The Health Sciences Building at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, KMW as Design Architect in conjunction with The Clark Enersen Partnership as Architect-of-Record, has been awarded first place in the Public Projects category of the 2008 Cornerstone Awards presented by the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Kansas City.

KMW Architects completed a Feasibility Study for the Expansion and Renovation of the North Academic Quad for Brandeis University. Brandeis awarded KMW the project to design a new Mandel Humanities Center, which will be part of this master plan.

KMW’s World Trade Center West Podium Park won a 2008 Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, Green Roof Award of Excellence in the Intensive Industrial / Commercial Category, with Pressley Landscape Architects.

KMW Architects completed the Suzanne Lemberg Usdan University Center and Renovations to Fayerweather at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. The building dedication was on September 7, 2007. The new campus center houses dining facilities, meeting rooms, and a café. Renovation of historic Fayerweather provides Dance, Theater rooms and Ballroom.

KMW as Design Architect in conjunction with The Clark Enersen Partnership as Architect-of-Record have completed the new University of Missouri, Kansas City Health Sciences Building, dedicated on September 21, 2007.

The 6th International Conference on Courthouse Design by the AAJ / AIA (Academy for Architecture of Justice) in NY in September selected "How the Courthouse Changed My Life" by Charlotte, N.C. Representing the Mecklenburg County Courthouse was Kathy MacKenzie and Stephanie Mallis of KMW Architects and Tom Vandeveer of HDR Architects.

KMW's addition to the Walter Gropius US Embassy in Athens Greece has been completed. The FAPE (Foundation for Art and Preservation of Embassies) has hosted an event in Boston to celebrate the site sculpture by Michael Singer. Landscape by Carol Johnson & Associates.
