Professional Expertise
Ms. MacKenzie joined Kallmann McKinnell and Wood Architects over 30 years ago and she has served in a variety of positions up to her current role as Associate Principal and Project Manager on some of KMW’s most important civic projects. On these projects Ms. MacKenzie worked closely with the client and community groups, the designers and engineers toward the successful completion of the project.

Throughout her time at KMW, Ms. MacKenzie has worked closely with Michael McKinnell and Stephanie Mallis. Currently, she is working on the Mecklenburg County Courthouse with Mr. McKinnell and Ms. Mallis. They have also collaborated on the Carl B. Stokes United States Courthouse and Office Building, and the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse in Boston. Ms. MacKenzie’s prior experience working with each team member helps create an effective cohesiveness that allows projects to exceed client expectations.

Ms. MacKenzie has also been responsible for establishing computerized systems to monitor costs, schedules, submittals and other aspects of Project Management with KMW. Her experience includes nearly $750 million worth of public bid work.
