St. Paul's School Lindsay Center for Mathematics and Science

The Lindsay Center For Mathematics & Science is a new building at the St. Paul’s School, in Concord, New Hampshire. The project integrated Math and Science, which were previously housed in separate outdated facilities.

The new building is based on two fundamental components; a lab and a classroom, with Biology and Chemistry utilizing lab/classrooms, Physics utilizing labs and Math utilizing classrooms, allowing for both shared use and long term reconfigurations. Supporting elements include a solar observatory, a greenhouse, and robotics lab, central lab support and student study and workspace in public areas.

During construction, the new building wrapped around the existing SPS Science building which remained in use until the new building was occupied. It has been demolished to form a landscape courtyard for the Science building.

Sustainability is a campus wide endeavor at SPS, and the new Mathematics and Science Building is representational of this effort in construction and long term operation.
